While hate is a vast and unfathomable emotion, it is the way that it is expressed by different people that makes it a threat to individuals and the whole society. The acts committed by people that stem from hate are twofold. It can be an act that is considered a hate crime or a hate incidents. Hate crimes cover criminal acts that committed on the basis of a person’s characteristics. It can be based on race, religion, gender identity or disability. Hate incidents are motivated by prejudice but still can be harmful.
